The "Presidential Candidates Forum 2008: Democratic Party Candidate
Platforms - Beyond Hairstyles, Vague Hopes, and Other Hype" promises
to be an excellent cure for Presidential PreSelection Syndrome, by
providing all current campaigns equal time on the same key issues as
well as equal response time to your questions.

When: Sunday January 27th 2:30-4:30 pm
Where: First Universalist Church, 4101 E Hampden Ave Denver CO
80222 (corner of Hampden and Colorado Blvd; ample parking in front of
and on side of the church)
Cost: Your donation of $2 will help cover the cost of the event,
but no attendees turned away
Moderator: The Honorable Senator Ken Gordon, renowned for fair,
open, and courageous leadership in Colorado.

Format:
Each campaign will assign a candidate speaker. Each candidate will be
represented by one proxy speaker (and one alternate, in case there is
some area of the candidate platform that can be better presented by
another speaker). ALL candidates who are duly certified (and have
not yet withdrawn)
as presidential candidates will have the opportunity for proxy
representation.

Each candidate campaign will have 3 minutes to present an overview of
their platform. Subsequently, each candidate campaign will speak 2
minutes regarding their candidate's position on selected topics, then
the next topic will be opened. At the conclusion, each campaign
will have 3 minutes to sum up. The forum will then be open to
questions, with 1 minute response limits for candidate
representatives.
The forum will be opened and closed with a straw poll.
