Poor Health & No Insurance, Why Stay

If you have seen the movie " Sicko" you have to ask yourself why would a person that has poor health and no insurance want to live in the for profit capital of the world? The countries of Canada, France and England were mentioned as countries that are not concerned about your need for money as there is no charge for services of doctor or hospital as the government picks up the bill. The Republicans in this country will tell you, ya they have high taxes, but the truth is that people live with the help of their government and do not die due to lack of insurance. It seems that the for profit insurance idea was started in 1971 by the nearly impeached Republican president Richard M. Nixon and the leader of the Kaiser family which turned out to be Kaiser Permanente, the largest H.M.O.Is it no wonder why the party of Nixon is pro H.M.O.and has real desire to make changes in the health care system. The profits for the health care industry and the petroleum industry aswell, two commodities that we count on to live each day, are in the pockets of the Republican party and they are going to give lip service to anyone that tries to change this. Is there anybody that thinks that G.W.Bush is any different then Nixon? See you at the ballot box!
