Philosophy of Liberty

Hey, I'm new to the Meetup world and very interested in politics. Looking to converse with folks of all stripes. Wanted to see what you guys thought about this animation: Philosophy of Liberty

Simple, but powerful, IMHO.

Generally I liked the animation; definitely a western european perspective consistent with Libertarian Party views here in the U.S.
Other cultures value group consensus/rules much more than individual 'rights' though so I would put this in the class of perspectives that Alfred North Whitehead referenced when he said ""there are no whole truths; all truths are half-truths. It is trying to treat them as whole truths that plays the devil."

Excellent video presentation.
Actually it is an award winning video.

I really think more people need to
see this and give it a major thought.
Our liberty is the issue here.
The more people who understand this clearly, the closer we will
be to a free people.

In evaluating what is wrong with
this country, it is clear that our
rights are erroding.

Big media is promoting this errosion
on a mass scale, with their "problem, reaction, solution"
techinques.

A problem is created, the public reacts, the government poses
a solution.

New laws are passed, encroaching on our freedoms.

If you watch the news from this viewpoint, you will understand what
is happening.

The Philosophy of Liberty is the
best presentation I have EVER seen
on this issue.

Watch it and spread it around.

Liberty in the "Land of the Free" is in trouble! high-tech electronic non-lethal directed energy weapons are being abused here in America and around the world to experiment on private citizens without their knowledge or consent. Some people, such as some corporate and government whistleblowers, and some human rights activists, get targeted for a campaign of organized stalking/harassment. The mass media is deliberately silent about this attack on Liberty.
There is a brand new meetup group just starting up to inform and educate the general public about this crime. It is in the Phoenix, AZ area and is open to anyone who's interested.
