The Chicago Fight Big Media September Meetup (2007)

I'm changing the date of the Chicago Fight Big Media Meetup for September to Wednesday, September 12, at 7pm. It'll be at Cosi Cafe on Michigan Avenue (116 S. Michigan Avenue). If you prefer another date, do say so.

I'm moving it from September 21, since that will otherwise be AFTER the next FCC hearing is held in Chicago.

A reminder: The FCC announced that Chicago will play host to an official media ownership rules hearing, scheduled for Thursday, September 20. The FCC has announced the time and address of the FCC media ownership hearing in Chicago:

Date: Thursday, September 20, 2007.
Time: 4pm to 11pm.
Place: The Operation Push National Headquarters, Dr. King?s Workshop, 930 East 50th Street (corner of South Drexel Blvd.), in Chicago.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to get involved on media issues, not just for Chicago but across the midwest. If you're interested in organizing for this event, please consider coming on September 12. If you can't come, consider coming to the FCC hearing on September 20.
