The Chicago Fight Big Media August Meetup (2007)

We're changing things a bit for the next month, for reasons we'll explain below.

The next Chicago Fight Big Media Meetup meetup is scheduled for Thursday, August 9, at 7pm. As before it'll be at Cosi Cafe on Michigan Avenue (116 S. Michigan Avenue).

There's a big reason for the change; it's to use more time to prepare. Prepare for what?

The FCC announced that Chicago will play host to an official media ownership rules hearing, scheduled for Thursday, September 20. Details for address and time of the hearing have yet to be announced. This is an extraordinary opportunity to get involved on media issues, not just for Chicago but across the midwest.
